Sensation – Beech Forests World Heritage of Nature

A first assessment exposed three areas in the project region which are very much likely to be nominated for the UNESCO World Heritage programme according to Beech Forests. These areas of beech groves are of national and probably international importance. This once more confirms the outstanding natural situation in the region and is also a good indicator for the importance of the project “Network Natural Forest” to protect the natural jewels in the region
